Mike D'Antonio (bass) was at unitary time the loss leader and lead sum songster of Overcast, the fabled underground metal grouping. Ferret released Killswitch Engage's self-titled debut album in June 2000 and it like a shot began capturing rave reviews. The grouping lays out its heavy riffs mixed with both telling vocals and screaming vocals that handle a reach from low-pitched death growls to the higher-pitched hyaena screams. Stroetzel developed a guitar beat that gallops, and the others maintain up as they combine elements of hardcore and metallic element and ferret in their melody. They get along on with an vividness that does non give in. During 2001, the banding recorded "Numbered Days" for WERS' Nasty Habits live CD, a compilation with bands such as God Forbid, Haste, Unearth, and Poison the Well. Also in 2001, Killswitch Engage signed with Roadrunner Records and started recording their second full album, Alive or Just Breathing, at the Zing Studio in Westfield, MA. They expanded to a five-piece with the addition of former Aftershock drummer Tom Gomes, as Dutkiewitz stirred over to guitar. The album included favorites such as "Self-Revolution," "Just Barely Breathing," and a re-recorded version of "Temple From the Within." Andy Sneap was signed on to integrate and professional this one in his English studio apartment. The album aimed at even more than of the growl sea bass tone, heavier guitar crunch, and thicker/faster double freshwater bass that permeate the music of the band, and it was greeted with high extolment upon its release in May 2002 (it even shot to number 37 on Billboard's Heatseeker Chart). Tours with Soilwork and Hypocrisy finished in front the band suffered a reversal that June; lead isaac M. Foxy Brown - Brown Ross To Go Public With Wedding Plans At Bet Awards

LATEST: Rap couple FOXY BROWN and RICK ROSS will announce their engagement onstage at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (24Jun08), according to reports.

Hip Hop Weekly, the publication which broke the news of the couple's romance, claims Ross and Brown, real name Inga Marchand - will confirm reports they're planning to wed at the prizegiving.

The magazine claims Brown and Ross' relationship flourished during a string of hip-hop collaborations.

Brown, 28, is reportedly set to move to Miami, Florida, where she'll set up home with Ross, 31.

In April (08) Brown, who was once wed to rapper Kurupt, was released from New York's Riker's Island Prison after serving eight months of a 12-month sentence for probation violations.

Houston's Big Pokey Inks With Koch, Preps New Album

Houston rapper Big Pokey has signed to Koch Records and is currenlty gearing up for the release of his latest album titled Evacuation Notice.
Evacuation Notice will feature apperances from Lil Keke, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Trae, Big Moe and Bun B.

Jack Black: 'I Thought Angelina Jolie's Pregnancy Was Common Knowledge'

Jack Black has insisted that Angelina Jolie did not tell him about her pregnancy, and he thought the news was just common knowledge.

The School Of Rock funnyman let it slip at the Cannes Film Festival that his Kung Fu Panda co-star is expecting, even though Angelina had not made the news publicly known.

But Black insists Jolie was relieved the news was made public.

He says: "Later she told me she was relieved because she and Brad (Pitt) didn't want to hold in the secret."

And Black insists Jolie never told him she was expecting: "I think my wife told me. She'd just read it in some rag. Then I thought that was common knowledge."

Celebrity Hijack nominations revealed

Jade, Jeremy and Victor have been nominated to face the first public eviction vote in 'Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack'.
According to the show's forum poll, beauty queen Jade is currently favourite to be booted out of the house.
Politician John was immune from the eviction process because he won a guaranteed place in the final after completing a task set by hijacker Matt Lucas.
